What does ‘no win, no fee’ mean?
Claiming compensation under a no win, no fee agreement is a legal and civil right in the UK.
In 2000 the goverment withdrew personal injury cases, this was then replaced by a no win, no fee agreement between solicitor and client.
There are a few situations where we can ask client to pay their legal costs for example if the claim is fraudulent, although it is extremely rare, however clients must be aware of them before entering into a ‘no win, no fee’ agreement.
