In the weeks that followed her accident, our client suffered with constant headaches and had severe pain in the right hand-side of her chest. As a result of the pain, our client was unable to sleep and had to visit her GP, who prescribed her with strong painkillers and sleeping tablets.
After collecting witness statements from members of staff who were present at the time of our client’s fall, we helped our client make a claim against the hospital, on the grounds that the cot side on her bed had not been raised during the operation.
Despite the hospital denying liability, we helped our client to successfully recover the sum of £2,500 by way of compensation for her personal injuries and financial losses incurred as a result of the fall.
