What’s My Claim Worth recently dealt with a claim on behalf of the Estate of a young man who died at the young age of 17 as a result of a road traffic collision. Sadly, the deceased was riding a moped on his way home from work when he was hit from behind by the Defendant driver who was later convicted of dangerous driving. He suffered a traumatic subarachnoid haemorrhage in the frontal region, a subdural hematoma, extensive fractures to his face and spinal injuries and unfortunately died within 2 days of the collision.
