What caused my hip or pelvis injury?

Slips, trips and falls in public or the workplace can cause many different injuries, including injuries to the hip and pelvis.

This could include a fall in a public place, a shop or in the workplace.

In the workplace, employers should always be aware of any potential slip or trip hazards to ensure your place of work is safe.

Accidents at work can commonly cause these types of injuries.

As mentioned above, employers are also under a duty to provide you with a safe place of work. lack of training and not having appropriate safeguards in place to reduce the risk of falling objects or faulty machinery can mean you may be entitled to compensation.

If you have been involved in a road traffic accident, you may be entitled to compensation for your injuries, including hip or pelvis injuries sustained as a result of the incident.

Sometimes, patients go to their GP or hospital with symptoms of a hip or pelvis injury or condition and the diagnosis is missed or the doctor breaches their duty of care to you in some other way, you may be able to make a claim for medical negligence compensation.

For example, you may go to the hospital, undergo an x-ray and a fracture is missed and you are sent home.
