The Road Traffic Accident
Our client was crossing a busy London road when they were involved in a collision with a motorcyclist.

Following negotiations, it was agreed that the motorcyclist was mainly responsible for the accident.
The claim was settled on an 85/15 basis in our client’s favour, meaning our client received 85% of the compensation value. A small reduction was made because it was accepted that our client shared a limited degree of responsibility for the accident.
Serious Leg Injuries and Surgery
Our client suffered fractures to both the tibia and fibula in their leg and required two surgical operations as part of their treatment and recovery.
As a result of the injuries, they were unable to work for a considerable period of time. Fortunately, they continued to receive full pay during their absence and were not expected to suffer any long-term disadvantage in their future employment.

To support the claim, we obtained independent medical evidence from specialist lower limb surgeons.
