Public Liability – Accident In Supermarket – £4,360.49

Our client was involved in an accident which occurred in February 2015.  The client was in her local Asda store looking at bottled juice when a shelf behind the Claimant containing champagne bottles collapsed suddenly and without warning.  The champagne bottles fell onto the floor and struck her.

Our client suffered a fracture to the second toe of her left foot.

For the first 6 weeks, the third left toe was extremely swollen, bruised and painful. She was unable to wear appropriate footwear and had difficulty standing and walking.

Her injury lasted for one year. Asda admitted responsibility for this accident and specialist panel lawyers were successful helping her with her claim for compensation, recovering the amount of £4,360.49.  The case was settled within 12 months.
