Miss A was a rear seat passenger being driven by her grandfather when they were hit by the Defendant at approximately 40 mph. Miss A experienced pain in her neck, shoulder and upper back for a period of 3 weeks. As Miss A was a minor, settlement of her claim had to be approved by a Judge so once settlement had been reached with the Insurer, the claim was issued at court and the matter listed for an Infant Approval Hearing so that a Judge could approve the amount.
