Miss W unfortunately suffered from fibromyalgia; spondylitis leading to back and leg pain, together with degenerative disc disease and she had a long-standing history of anxiety and disorders requiring the care of a psychiatrist so it was necessary to obtain medical reports from an Orthopaedic Surgeon with knowledge of fibromyalgia. One of the main symptoms of fibromyalgia is widespread pain, and the pain is likely to be felt throughout the body and worse in particular areas.
