We settled a claim for a Mr N who was referred to us by his friend, who was a former client of ours who recommended our services. The Client was driving a company vehicle which was stationary at a T-junction waiting to pull out, the Defendant failed to stop and drove into the rear of the Client’s vehicle.
The Client sustained whiplash injuries to his neck and back in the accident. The Client sought medical attention at his GP two days after the accident, he was diagnosed with whiplash injuries and advised to take painkillers.
The Client incurred no further losses such as travel costs, loss of earnings, or care and assistance. Due to the fact the Client was driving a work’s vehicle, his employers dealt with the vehicle aspects of the claim such as any repair costs, loss of use and hire costs. Our Client was happy with this figure and agreed to settle his claim. His costs and disbursements were paid for by the Defendants Insurers as we were acting for him on a “No Win No Fee” basis.
Our client was awarded £1,900 by way of compensation.
